Accountability Coaching for Health and Weight Loss

How much does it suck when you go to the doctor and they say you need to lose weight (just like every time you go to the doctor)? You probably think, “No shit! Ya know, telling me I’m overweight for the billionth time really isn’t helpful. Tell me what I’m supposed to do about it!”

You probably...

  • Don’t need another person telling you what you already know: “You need to lose weight, you should handle that, mmmk?”.
  • Already know what to do, but can’t seem to do it for some reason. “Do this, not that” hasn’t helped you. And why would it? Because knowledge isn’t the issue you here.
  • Are pretty damn smart. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. You like to read and value conversations that actually have substance. You probably have 1 topic you could geek out on for hours given the opportunity.
  • Overthink everything, from what to talk about when catching up with an old friend, to what kind of sandwich to buy. So sometimes, your intelligence is more of a curse than anything.
  • Find this nutrition stuff a bit daunting, confusing, and paralysing because of the fact your brain thinks too damn much.
  • Ambitious and work your ass off. If you’re going to do something you really go after it. It’s gotten you really far in your career, but again, it doesn’t seem to work as well when it comes to fat loss.

So if that all rings true with you, it also means ...

Going after fat loss the way you’re inclined to would mean giving up *everything else*. That isn’t really possible and not what you want to do anyways, because you have other priorities in addition to your health.

Every time you start to eat better, you quit because other life obligations take precedence.

When life gets crazy you give up because you can’t eat *perfectly*, so there doesn’t seem like much point in changing your diet if you can’t do it properly, right now.

So you end up losing weight, only to gain it all back. Every time this happens it gets more and more demoralising.

How can you make health a priority without sacrificing your career and social life?

How can you keep your health consistent when life is anything but?

By taking advantage of this package (aka the topic I can geek out on for hours on end)

You don’t need another person telling you what to do. You need someone to help you do it for more than two weeks!

This program doesn’t just tell you what you should be eating, it gives you the support, accountability and flexibility you need to make it happen. To finally conquer your nutrition struggles, to make it so you’re not constantly thinking about food, whether that means feeling guilty about eating something “bad” or resentful about eating something “good”.

After just a few months, You’ll be surprised at how much easier and relaxing it is to eat healthy and lose weight. You’ll be able to go out with your friends and not feel awkward ordering something healthy, or going for a water instead of a whiskey.

And that’s the way health ought to be. It’s my firm belief that fitness should enhance your life, not consume it. You might feel stuck because this is how things have always been, but I’ve worked with tons of individuals who thought the exact same thing. Only to have their perspective, their body, and their health, completely turn around.

This program makes nutrition simple, it removes over thinking and keeps you losing weight regardless of what hits the fan at work, or what situations you need to be available for in your personal life.

Decisions become easier, as eating for fat loss becomes automatic. This frees up mental space to tackle the other important areas of your life whether that’s spending more time with your family, putting in that extra effort to get a promotion, or to go on more nature’y adventures.

Imagine this...

  • Not having to worry about fat loss anymore
  • Going to the doctor and not anxiously waiting for the “you need to lose weight” lecture.
  • Eating your favorite foods and still seeing the scale steadily go down, along with your pant size. Week after week.
  • Not giving up your social life in pursuit of fat loss.
  • Feeling healthier and knowing you're going to live longer.
  • Knowing you’re not going to spend the rest of your life riddled with medical bills.
  • Nutrition being on autopilot, and health being something that just happens.
  • Being happy with your body and enjoying eating healthy.
  • Finally having a good work/health/life balance.

It’s not just possible, it’s easier than you think with this package.

Here’s what you get:

  • One 45 minute video call per week to create your personalized strategy, hold you accountable, keep you motivated, and conquer anything that’s holding you back. This call is where we set you up for success for the week. Where we make sure no matter what happens, you keep losing weight.
  • Daily text correspondence to give you daily accountability, give you support, listen to your situation and help strategize a plan specific to your life to maximize results for long haul. It’s easy to forget when you’re doing something new. Coaching over text on a daily basis keeps you mindful and focused on your goals so you keep taking action, so you don’t remember your diet 3 Oreos away from an empty package. Not only that, this gives you the flexibility to get real, lasting fat loss no matter how erratic your schedule is.

Here’s how this looks:

Each week we’ll decide on a mini goal to work on that actively will move you towards your health goals.

This could be something like:

“I will cook dinner every night this week when I get home from work”

Or

“I will drink a glass of water when i wake up in the morning”

Or

“I will go to the gym 2 times this week for 20 minutes on my lunch break”

Or literally anything you think will move you forward and is realistic.

Then we come up a with a plan.

We talk through any likely obstacles that could get in the way of these mini goals, and find solutions to work around them. We’ll come up with back up plans so that even if you can’t do plan A, you can do plan B or C to keep making progress no matter how crazy life gets.

The weekly calls will be the main source of this strategizing, while the daily text check-ins will help to keep you mindful and accountable of your eating habits. And don’t worry, I won’t be breathing down your neck, nagging you and shaming you to eat salads. Instead I give you support and gently guide you towards the decisions you’re trying to make. This is done without shame or judgement, because despite popular belief shame is a really terrible motivator.

From there, we just work together to make sure you’re getting better and better each and every week. We progressively build up your healthy nutritional habits to the point where the unhealthy behaviors get edged out without having to use willpower or whiteknuckle your way towards eating better.

Until next thing you know, your pants are fitting too loose and you need to move your belt down another few notches. The best part about it is, you’ve built a healthy lifestyle you actually enjoy so the habits stick. It’s not like when you stick to a diet for a month, lose 15 lbs, only to gain it back once you stop dieting. This time, those healthy behaviors stick with you for life. The weight stays off for good and you never have to go on a diet ever again.
